1. Acceptance of Terms

01. Agreement to Terms
By engaging with the services provided by Dovers Dental Clinic, whether at our physical locations in Lekki, Ikeja, or Ajah, or through our website at doversdental.com, you are entering into a binding agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. Should you find any part of this agreement unacceptable, we respectfully request that you refrain from utilizing our services or accessing our online platforms.
02. Modification of Terms
Dovers Dental Clinic reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion and at any time. Such modifications will be published on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services following such updates constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Services Provided

01. Scope and Quality of Services
Dovers Dental Clinic offers a wide range of dental services, including but not limited to consultations, scaling and polishing, teeth whitening, dental implants, orthodontic braces, tooth extractions, and specialized pediatric dental care. These services are performed by qualified, licensed dentists who adhere to the standards set forth by the Nigerian Dental Association to ensure the highest level of care.
02. Service Availability
The availability of our services is contingent upon the availability of our professional staff and necessary equipment. While we strive to accommodate all patients, Dovers Dental Clinic reserves the right to decline non-emergency services at our discretion, particularly in cases of resource constraints or scheduling conflicts.

3. Appointments and Payments

01. Appointment Booking and Cost Determination
To secure an appointment at Dovers Dental Clinic, patients are required to pre-pay consultation fees, which can be settled using credit or debit cards or through bank transfers. The consultation fees are transparently listed on our website for your convenience. However, the total cost of treatment will be determined and communicated to you following an in-person consultation with one of our dentists, ensuring accuracy based on your specific dental needs.
02. Payment Terms and Conditions
All outstanding balances for services rendered must be settled promptly. Should any payment remain unsettled beyond 30 days from the date of service, a late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding amount may be applied. Dovers Dental Clinic reserves the right to suspend or withhold further services until all outstanding payments are cleared.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

01. Cancellation Policy
Patients may cancel their appointments with Dovers Dental Clinic by providing notification at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time to receive a full refund of any pre-paid consultation fees. Failure to attend an appointment without notice (no-show) or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the forfeiture of any refund. In the event that Dovers Dental Clinic must cancel an appointment, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule at your convenience.
02. Refund Processing
Eligible refunds will be processed by Dovers Dental Clinic within five business days and returned to the original method of payment used by the patient. In cases where services are partially rendered, a proportional refund may be issued based on the extent of services provided.

5. Patient Responsibilities

01. Provision of Information and Compliance
As a patient of Dovers Dental Clinic, you are responsible for providing complete and accurate health history and contact information to ensure proper treatment planning and communication. Additionally, you are expected to adhere to all post-treatment care instructions provided by our dentists to minimize the risk of complications and optimize treatment outcomes.
02. Behavioral Expectations
We require all patients to maintain a respectful and courteous demeanor while interacting with our staff and within our facilities. Dovers Dental Clinic reserves the right to refuse service to any individual engaging in harassment, violence, or disruptive behavior that compromises the safety or comfort of our team or other patients.

6. Liability and Disclaimers

01. Limitation of Liability
Dovers Dental Clinic’s liability is limited to direct losses resulting from our negligence or failure to provide services as agreed. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, such as lost income or emotional distress. Our services are provided on an ‘as is’ basis, and we do not guarantee specific results due to the variable nature of dental treatment outcomes.
02. Force Majeure
Dovers Dental Clinic shall not be held liable for any delays or failures in service delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions, or other unforeseeable circumstances.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

01. Data Collection and Purpose
Dovers Dental Clinic collects personal and health-related information from patients solely for the purposes of providing dental treatment, processing payments, and maintaining effective communication. This data collection is conducted in strict compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, ensuring your privacy is protected.
02. Data Security and Patient Rights
All patient data is stored securely using encryption and other industry-standard safeguards. We will only disclose your information when required by law or for legitimate medical purposes. Under NDPR 2019, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

8. Intellectual Property

01. Ownership and Restrictions
All content displayed on doversdental.com, including text, logos, images, and designs, is the exclusive property of Dovers Dental Clinic and is protected by intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials without our express written permission is strictly prohibited.

Should the matter remain unresolved, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos State, Nigeria.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal actions or proceedings will be conducted under this jurisdiction.

11. Miscellaneous Provisions

01. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable. No waiver of any term herein shall be effective unless it is documented in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Dovers Dental Clinic.
02. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Dovers Dental Clinic regarding the use of our services and website. This agreement supersedes any prior oral or written understandings, negotiations, or representations not expressly included herein.
